2012/09/21 – Project

Agöston Törok visiting student

Agöston Törok, currently a Ph.D. student at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary, was part of the CRVM team for the last 3 weeks as part of the European VisionAir Project, just completed his experiments. This collaboration, funded by the European community, allowed for the collection of experimental data to better understand audiovisual integration in virtual reality. This work will lead to a publication in the coming months.

2012/10/18 – Conference

CRVM attended IC3D: 3D Collaborative Engineering and Technology. Chalons-en-Champagne

D. Mestre, representing CRVM and in association with the Image Institute of Chalon-sur-Saône, presented "Navigation in immersive virtual environments within large complex spaces" at the IC3D conference in Chalons-en-Champagne on September 18-19, 2012.

2012/09/03 – Project

Hosting Visiting Student Agöston Törok as part of the VisionAir Project

Within the framework of the European Visionair Project, CRVM hosted Agöston Törok for a period of three weeks. Agöston Törok is currently a Ph.D. student at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary. During these three weeks CRVM made CAVE and its expertise in virtual reality available to assist in Agöston Törok’s study on audiovisual integration in virtual reality.
