Navigation in complex virtual spaces raises many issues namely motion sickness and performance during the navigation task. To overcome these problems, a third person point of view and a new control metaphor were implemented.

The choice of command metaphor may be important. Indeed we need to find a user friendly and high performance control metaphor. The same is true for third person point of view (placement in relation to the avatar).

We are interested in the influence of these two factors on performance during the navigation task and motion sickness.
